Daily Declaration November 15

Dear Father, I am aware You did not promise me a trouble-free life. What You promised me is Your presence and help in the midst of trouble. What a lot of us consider to be “trouble” in this present generation is not what the Martyrs of old considered to be trouble. These men and women of faith were faced with real persecution for what they believed- Christ is Lord. Quite a lot of them were tempted to forsake the faith and deny Christ but they remained fearless in the face of death and failed to deny He whom they had seen, heard and believed to be the Messiah. When next I think I am troubled in any way, help me to remember it is nothing compared to the persecution the great men and women whose blood remains the seed of the Church were faced with. Arise O Lord, and defend Your cause, deliver everyone, family, nation and people going through persecution of any kind for the sake of their faith in You. AMEN.

ISAIAH 41:10, HEBREWS 11:37, ACTS 21:13, PSALM 46:1-3, PSALM 74:22
