Precious Saviour, You have taught me that love is not just in words but also in deeds. When You left Your peaceful abode all because of Your willingness to come and pay the debt that I owe, it was out of Your amazing love and consideration for me. Salvation was offered to me because You were born. This offering is the reason my life has a meaning and I can boldly say that I am saved. You offer salvation to everyone but it takes a personal decision to listen, regard and believe in the essence of Your birth. When You were born in that manger, taken to a strange land, You could have refused to bear such humiliation considering that You are not just a King but the King of Kings. You walked as a humble suffering Saviour, not because of Yourself but for the sake of humanity. This is my heart cry as I celebrate the birth of the Greatest King- that those who do not know You will understand the essence of Your birth and the sufferings You went through for us all so that this knowledge will help them to bow their hearts and ask that You come and reign supreme in their hearts as their Lord and Saviour. Lord, help me to love just as You love so that I can share the Good news with everyone I encounter now and always. My King is born! My prayers are answered! My life is meaningful! All because of one event that disrupted the plans of the enemy of my soul- Jesus’s birth. HALLELUJAH!
