Dear God, making choices can end up becoming stressful, exhausting and confusing. You are however not the author of confusion. There is always clarity in everything You lay upon our hearts. The nature of man is to believe the easy way out is the right way but this is not always the case with You. Daniel had to get into the Lion’s den for Your glory to be revealed. The three Hebrew boys had to be thrown into the fiery furnace before You came through for them. Lazarus had to die and remain in the grave for four days before You showed up to command him back to life. Abraham had to leave his comfort zone before You could reveal Your plan of greatness for his present and future to him. None of all these people found it easy or convenient to make the choices they made but they did because they trusted You and considered You Faithful to bring them to a place of rest and honour. No matter how much we try to twist or avoid what You will have us do, You remain unruffled and unmoved by our cunningness and desire to avoid certain paths we consider rough and challenging. Your leading in any area of our lives does not necessarily mean a smooth ride all the way but we can be sure to land safely as long as You journey with us. Teach me to always remember You are in control of every path You lead me in so that I will not become despondent, discouraged or walk away from such. AMEN
