Dear Father, You have called Your Church into love and unity and You expect that we love one another just as You love us(selflessly and genuinely). It however gets confusing to see brethren standing against one another, caring less about one another and acting outside Your laid down principle of love and unity. Help us never to ignore the truth that Your Word reveals- We have the same Father, Elder brother( Christ), purpose and destination. Let selfishness, lack of accountability, unrighteousness, quest for power and position, jealousy, discrimination, and unhealthy competition no longer be mentioned amongst us. Together we can achieve more for Your glory and our common enemy knows this and will stop at nothing to see to it that we see ourselves as one another’s enemy. Let the body of Christ remain undivided and focused on seeing Your kingdom come in all our nations. Help us to celebrate our diversities, knowing that though we are many, we are one body in Christ, which is where our uniqueness lies. Help this Army (The Chruch) that is called to take over the world for Christ not become disarmed as a result of selfishness and ungodly desires or ambitions that breeds disunity. We will stand together and remain strong until Your second coming, knowing fully well that we are untied by Your Word, blood and name, which is what prouduces power and the ability to do the impossible. Amen.
