There is beauty in being vulnerable with the right person. God is All-knowing, yet He expects us to come to Him in all humility, telling Him all that there is to us, not because He is unaware but because we prove our trust and faith in Him when we are willing to open up without any form of deception and insincerity in every area of our lives. He knows exactly where you are, why hide? ( Genesis 3)
This song speaks volumes . A lot of us hide behind fake walls, fake smiles, fake strength and so many things so we may seem okay to everyone out there.
We hide behind the walls of “No one can understand” or ” They will be disappointed” or “What if they judge me” or” I just have to be strong.”, or “I cannot afford to be so vulnerable.”
God is saying to you today, come out of hiding, there’s no need to cover up what He already sees. If there’s anyone you can be real with, It is God and trust me He knows and understands and He won’t judge you. He’ll listen with open arms and you can rest in His warm embrace; it’s safe and it’s home.
Quick reminder- He loves you so much, it’s why He gave His life for you, You might feel you do not deserve it but you’re worth it, your soul is worth it to Him. ( John 3:16, 2 Corinthians 5:21)
