Dear God, how easy is it to say “Yes” to Your will and Your Word even when I do not understand what I am getting into? The process is not always known to me as I walk in obedience to Your request from time to time but I have come to realize overtime that I do not have to say yes to my understanding of Your will but my yes should always be to You. Teach my heart to be constantly inclined to follow You duly because the more I am in total surrender to You , the more prompt I am to say “Yes , Lord Yes !” Can the clay say “No” to the Potter? How interesting is it that I sometimes have to struggle with Your will and ways? Teach me to always be willing to say “Yes” to You in total surrender and trust which is the responsibility of the clay that I am in Your hands. You have never failed me and I have no reason to think You will ever do so because I know You are ever faithful, ever sure. You knew what You were saying “yes” to when You accepted me as Your child despite my flaws and frailties. Your plans for me are of peace and not of evil and You are always looking out for my now and future. I will say” Yes Lord, Yes!” even when I do not understand it all because I know Your demand and instructions are always for my good. Just as You said “Yes” to the Cross on my behalf, You have my “Yes” in all areas of my life now , just as You had it when You gave me the call to salvation by the help of Your Holy Spirit.
I am all Yours Dear Potter, Let Your will be done in me and through me above my own will, plans, aspirations and desires as I say “Yes , Lord , Yes”.
Matthew 4:19, Acts 9:1-16, 2 Corinthians 1:20, Isaiah 6:8, Jeremiah 29:11-13.
