Torn But Spiritually New

Like a piece of cloth,

I’ve been brutally ripped,

Torn apart by life’s bitter experiences

Unlike, a piece of cloth

I’ve not been easily stitched

Not being malleable and pliable

As I’ve been stitchedI

I have felt every pain, tear and tug…

Unable to return to my pure untainted state

But my solace lies in Jesus

The one who takes my broken pieces

And returns me back into more than I was initially

After all I’m more than a conqueror in Jesus.

You are more than a conqueror too!
