A Psalm of Mine.

Gather together, all ye nations; and reason with me, 

Should I be bothered for any reason? 

When I know that blessed is she who has the Great I am as her helper?

Why should I worry when I have You?( Yahweh) 

“She ain’t sensible, they say, 

Hence her calmness in the midst of the storm. 

Who does that? 

Who relaxes amidst great shakings?” they ask,

“Blame it on her stupidity and perpetual life of woes, delay and sorrow,

I bet she is paying for her mistakes and that of her decedants.” 

While they speak, You laugh and give me a pat on the back

Whispering to me, “I am yours and you are mine, 

Deeply loved by me are you, dearly beloved of The Most High.” 

You have made it clear to me that You are mindful of me,

Waging tongues do not define me, 

The assumptions of men is not my reality, 

My reality is Your thought towards me; 

Beautiful, perfect and greater than I can imagine are they.

So great and clearly spelt out are Your uninterruptible plans for me. 

In Your very own time, You will perform Your Word to Your beloved,

Unfailing, unchanging are Your promises. 

The One who is high above the nations, 

Whose glory fills the earth and the heavens, 

He who reigns in splendor and majesty 

Yet delights in me and knows my name. 

Yahweh has said to me, 

“You are my very own princess, 

The daughter of the Greatest of all; 

A joint heir of Christ- the Saviour.”

The Lord is for me, 

and will never leave me nor forsake me, 

I have all that I need, 

Even when they cannot see it, 

I see it, He sees it and that’s all that matters

So I remain unmoved and unbothered.

He has shown me the wonders of His power,

So great I stand in awe of His ability. 

Now and always , I know I have no reason to worry,

Because my worries are legit yours. 

I will always honor you by casting all my cares on You,

For I know You care for me.
