Good God, I have realized that situations come and go, yet it is easy to miss out on the purpose for which You permit somethings, considering that we focus on the situation, rather than Your intention. Daniel never lost focus of his purpose in a strange land, he was wise enough to take more seriously Your reason for taking him through the process of a sacrificial and consecrated life. Added to the process was a relentless prayer life, that all resulted in You being declared as the God of gods, by a pagan King. Help me to live with the understanding that situations come and go, but I am to walk through it all, with my heart focused on Your intention, so that I do not miss out on Your intention, which is far more important that the situation.
PSALM 62:1-2, DANIEL 2:47, ACTS 2:23, JEREMIAH 29:11
