Dear Father, You have encouraged me through Your Word not to feel contempt about small beginnings. Sometimes, I feel like jumping the gun, but You always remind me that little things grow to become big, as long as their foundation is solid. You are my Sure and Solid foundation, which is the reason when the work gets hard and there is little or no help or encouragement from anywhere, You have always being there for me, showing me that it’s not by might nor by power, but by Your Spirit. For every small beginning I have found myself in at the moment, I am eternally grateful, knowing that You are glad to see the work start in, through and by me. My comfort is in knowing You will help me through it all. Teach me to keep pressing towards the prize as I patiently take one step after another. Amen.
