He Was A Doer Of His Own Word

It is often said that “Talk is cheap”. Anyone can actually talk, but in doing is the real deal. Jesus- our Perfect Example was not just a Talker, but a Doer of all that He taught, said and commanded .

On the night He was betrayed, He gathered His Disciples together and they had a final meal that is called ” The Last Super”. It was known to Jesus as they ate that after that meal, He was to face an horrific experience that will lead to His death, yet He was mindful of others in His prayers that night. Worth Being a Friend of God?

The sovereignty of God is such that gives Him the right to do as He pleases, whenever He chooses to and however He wants to. When He began creating all things, He was not challenged by anything whatsoever, because all that He called forth understood His Supremacy and simply obeyed.(GENESIS 1)

You Are Worth More Than You Know

Someone gave me a gift that touched my heart in a special way yesterday. The value I place on this gift is not a function of how expensive it is or not, but the thoughtfulness of the giver.

As I thought of where to place that gift in my house, I decided to put it in a place where I can easily see it everyday. My decision is based on how much I cherish the gift.

To someone who visits me and sees where I place this valued gift, it might not make sense, considering that he or she feels it is not a treasure in the real sense of what the world calls a treasure. For me however, it is a treasure- My treasure. The value I place on it is what makes it a treasure and not what anyone thinks about it.

This is how God sees you, even when nobody else sees you the same way. God sees you as His valued treasure, a Child of His that is special and is worth being used to display His glory for the World to see.
