It is always beautiful to have plans. As a matter of fact, it helps you avoid losing your mind over the outcome of certain situations as you work towards achieving your goals, or seeing the manifestation of the larger picture on your mind.
Planning simply means a method of achieving an end. It also means a comprehensive list of steps, with timing and resources, which is made to achieve a particular purpose.
Talking about the second definition, taking out “resources” from the other requirements involved in planning will produce frustration. The good news however is that “resources” in this regard does not automatically mean money, or other material resources.
Queen Esther had a plan to rescue the Jews from the wicked plan of Haman the Agagite, and money was not a part of the resources she required to do so. All she required was that all the Jews and her maidens join her in sacrificing their food, water and pleasure at that time, and added to that plan was the need to create the time to pray as they fasted.Read More »Keep your Eyes on Him as you Plan
Ever wondered why it seems difficult for a lot of people to be content? One can only imagine why someone will have so much, yet complain about what they have, or the little he or she does not have.
This points at the fact that there is a role that God plays in the life of anyone who is content. God cannot be taken out of the issue of contentment.
1 TIMOTHY 6:6-8 ( NIV)
“But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that.“
The human nature always wants more, yet as it acquires more, it does not automatically guarantee satisfaction, hence the reason for the desire for more , and more, and then more, and so much more.Read More »Contentment – Only Possible with God

The greatest concern of a lot of people when they realize Christ has called them to follow Him is that they have to leave something(s), in order to be able to follow Him indeed.
Truly, that a man has to follow Jesus means he has to leave somethings behind and simply pick up other things that are given to him. To think that you can follow while you still remain the same, cling to the same things, and just put Jesus somewhere in it all is mere wishful thinking.
The beautiful thing about following Jesus is that He does not take away those things from us to hurt us, or strip us off good things. What He simply does is to make those things stay in their rightful place, fulfilling the purpose for which they are given to us.
MATTHEW 19:27-30
“Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore?
And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.
But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.”Read More »Leading or Following?
