When people go through difficult times, no matter how old, or young such people are, they often wonder and ask why God permitted the occurrence of such things . That this question pops up in our minds does not necessarily mean we doubt God’s role as a caring Father. It only proves that we are mere mortals whose understanding of God is so limited we can be blinded to His unfailing love, as a result of what we are faced with or how hard some situations are.
Recently, I was moved to ask a question I have not asked in a very long time. “Why did God allow this to happen?” Some people think it is a big deal to ask God questions when unpleasant things happen to us or someone dear to us.
