Dear God, there is nothing as terrible as thinking we are alive when the truth is that we are dead! You spoke to the seven Churches in the Book of Revelation and You revealed their true state to them. To the Chuch in Sardis, You said: ” I know your works, that you have a name that you live, but you are dead.” No one knows the Creature like the Creator Himself, and it is never about what people see but what You see. As much as the state of this Church was unpleasing to You, You did not condemn her rather You helped her to see where she was and the necessary precautions she needed to put in place to avoid the death of the other few areas that were still alive. Help me to be sensitive enough to hear Your warnings and to heed to them. It is as a result of Your love that You reveal our true state to us. If we however choose to live in deception, after You have helped us to see our true state and the necessary changes we need to make, it implies that we are arrogant and insensitive to Your instructions and corrections that lead to life. Help me to be watchful and to remember all of Your Words of correction so that I can preserve what is about to die and also be able to revive what is dead but is supposed to be alive in me. AMEN.

Amen.
Help me and all your children that believe in Your saving grace to realize our fault and make the needed changes whenever You reveal our nakedness (sinful state) to us in Jesus name.
Amen!
