Dear God, I just want to sing aloud the Words of a beautiful hymn, and talk about it to others for the next few days, so I can remind myself of how much You have done for me.
“When upon life’s billows you are tempest tossed,
When you are discouraged, thinking all is lost,
Count your many blessings name them one by one,
And it will surprise you what the Lord hath done.“
If I ever forget the numerous things You have done for me and try to dwell on what I think You are yet to do, or what I have ever lost, please use the Words of this hymn to speak to my heart, so I can count my many blessings and be thankful for the several things You have done for me. Amen.
EPHESIANS 5:19, PSALM 103:2, PSALM 105:1, 1 THESSALONIANS 5:16-18
