Dear God, there is wisdom in seeking the promotion that comes from you alone. We can choose to promote ourselves, rely on promotion from mere mortals, or depend solely on the promotion that comes from You. When we try to lift ourselves up, it is only a matter of time before we realize how incapable we are to keep up with the pressure that comes from trying to do things our way. Choosing to depend on humans for a lifting will also end up getting us frustrated and disappointed because man is bound to make mistakes and seek for his own selfish gains ultimately. The best choice we can make is to rely on You for the lifting that only You can bring. Your lifting comes without unreasonable stress, sweat and conditions. When it looks like Your lifting is difficult to keep up with, it is simply because we are used to shortcuts as human and are naturally not willing to go through the process You will have us go through. Teach me to learn through the process of each stage of Your supernatural lifting as I rely on You and not mere mortals for the fulfilment of Your purpose for my life. AMEN.
