Dear God, the pattern of the world differs from that of Your kingdom. Although I live in the world, I am not of the world. The world is a present dwelling place for me but it does not define who I am as an heir of Your Kingdom, neither does it dictate the choices I make. I am no longer a slave to sin or ruled by Satan. As much as the system of the world is ruled by Satan, he has no rule over me because Christ is the one in charge of the government of the Kingdom that I belong to. I am able to live a righteous life while I live in the world because the Holy Spirit teaches me all that I need to know and do always. I have been set apart from the wickedness and corruption of the world. My thoughts, plans and decisions are guided by You and I am free from every manipulation of this present world. I may be physically present in the world but I do not have to be a part of its values. Help me to always remember that though I live in the world, the prince of the world has no control over me because I believe in Jesus- The King of the Kingdom I belong to. Reign on my King! Reign! AMEN.
