Daily Declaration November 11

Dear God, I do not want to do things right and later realize I was actually doing in the right way the things You did not call me to do. Search my heart and help me to see what You think about all that I put my time and effort into. My greatest desire is to do the right things in the right way. There are several choices we make as humans that are not necessarily in line with Your plans for us. Sometimes, we are so good at certain things that others are quick to say ” This is what you were born to do because you are so good at it”. You are the Potter and I am the clay in Your hands. Help me to know the right things to do and reveal to me the right way to them. I do not want to end my journey later in life and find out I was an expert but not in the things You called me to do. My greatest desire is to use my time and life to do what You intend for me to do, not what I or others think I am good at or is best for me. I will not channel my time and effort into what will not earn me Your Words of commendation. AMEN.

PROVERBS 21:2, JEREMIAH 18:1-6, 1 KINGS 19:19-21, 1 THESSALONIANS 2:4, 2 CORINTHIANS 10:18

Amen! It is sometimes so subtle that we are so certain we are doing what He wants us to do the way He wants it done simply because we are so good at those things. Meanwhile, we are very far from what He has called us to do.It takes a humble heart check to discover and admit that been so good at a thing does not necessarily mean it is what God has called us to do. May we not waste time becoming experts in what He has not called us to do when we can channel the same time and energy into what He intends for us. Blessings
