Dear God, it is very easy to see what others are not doing right while we fail to see our own shortcomings. When I focus on the other person, I am likely to forget what I really look like. You desire that we look at our own lives and see where we can make positive changes instead of dwelling on the weakness of others. Help me to see myself through the mirror of Your Word so I can become who You want me to be. I do not know what the other person has been through which is probably the reason they are who they are, or where they are. I know what I have been through and how Your love bought me into the fold. Instead of looking at someone else and judging their actions or decisions, I will keep my eyes on my own life, seeking and searching Your Word of growth and truth daily. The more I grow in You the greater my love for people who do or do not deserve my love even in their absence. Let the light of Your love shine through me to all those that I come in contact with. AMEN.
