Dear God, You see the heart of men and this is one ability of Yours that makes You God over everyone and everything. Man can only see what he is made to see, but You see the hidden faults and short comings of everyone. I do not want to be comfortable with how men see me, because it may just be another trap of deception that I am to avoid. I want to see myself through Your eyes, so I can forsake every hidden and destructive ways that only You is aware of. You are Holy in all Your ways and You commanded me to be just as You are. I cannot hide from You, neither can I deceive You. Search me and if there be anything in me that does not bring You glory, take it away from me by Your grace so I can be bold to stand before You without spot or wrinkle or any blemish.
PSALM 145:17, PROVERBS 16:2, 1 PETER 1:15-17, EPHESIANS 5:26-27
