Daily Declaration- Remnant According to the Election of Grace

Dear God, We sometimes look around us and feel that You are losing a generation to sin and mediocrity. This is simply because we cannot see beyond the level our eyes reach to. Just like Elias, we think You have lost a great number of people to the world, only to realize You have reserved for Yourself a great number of people than we can actually imagine. It takes the riches of Your wisdom and knowledge for You to preserve for Yourself in this generation those who are not willing to give up Your name despite all that they are faced with. As much as there is a constant war between light and darkness, there is no doubt about the fact that light will always win because it is where You dwell. I desire that You count me amongst the Remnant You have reserved for Yourself in this generation. I want to be among those who according to the election of grace will not give in to any form of idolatry or shift their ground due to the pressures and cares of this world. No matter how hard it becomes to stand for Your Word and Your name, by faith in You, Your grace and mercy, not by works or my own doing, I will finish well and strong. AMEN.
