Daily Declaration September 16

Dear God, I have come to know through Your Word that I am not to expect too much from anyone. The human nature is naturally selfish, self promoting and inconsiderate of others. You have taught me to love those who do not deserve my love, value my time and gifts, and also to pray for those who despitefully use me.  You have also taught me to set the boundaries, so as to avoid strife and unnecessary contentions. Help me to love those who do not deserve my love, just as Christ loved the world and died for the undeserving. Teach me to also place value on myself , just as You want me to, so that I will not do what You do not expect of me, or leave undone what You expect of me.  Thank You for placing so much value in me and for seeing me as Your precious child, whose time and gift are of great value to Your Kingdom. Amen.
