Daily Declaration- Set Apart

Dear God, the most beautiful thing that can happen to a man is to be saved and sanctified by You for Your own use. When an athlete is used by a coach, it brings joy to the athlete and everyone connected to him. There is, however, a greater joy for a man who is used by the Great and Mighty God. You saved me so You can set me apart for Your own use and glory. I could not have gotten to this point by my own effort even though You already chose me from my mother’s womb. You brought me out of a life of sin so that I can become who You want me to be. I am aware of what Jesus did in order for me to become a Vessel in Your hands. There are of course various kind of  Vessels- Some unto honour and others unto dishonour. It pleased you to make me a Vessel unto honour and I am eternally grateful for this privilege the sacrifice of Jesus brought me. I will not take for granted the great price that Christ paid for my sanctification. It cost Him His blood and now that His blood is very much alive and active, speaking for me greater things, I will purge myself of anything that is capable of hindering me from being a Vessel unto honour, ready for every good work and the Master’s use. AMEN.
