Dear God…

Dear God, help me to see my life the way You see it. A life that was made for Your own purpose and glory. Help me to live in such a way that I do not count my life in the flesh to be more valuable to me than to You. I do not want to exert my energy focusing on all that fades away in this present world while I ignore the future and hope I ought to have in You. The price You paid for my life is huge. No one else could have paid it and now all I can give you back in return is that same life. Teach me to follow You duly because my life is of no value to me outside of You.  All I want is to finish strong and well and to be found faithful in stewardship, standing before You to declare at the end of my life how that I lived for You, did all that You made me for and used up all that You made available to me, leaving nothing undone, unused, unattended because I was sold out to You. AMEN.
