A Love Story…..
I searched for love like it was all that mattered,
Each time I found it or thought I did
I rejoiced, Only to discover it was conditional
Broken and bitter I knew I had to search again…
I decided to try again,
This time I was willing to earn it
But I soon realized my best was not good enough
Discouraged and shattered
I concluded…..
“Maybe love is not meant for me”.
Then I said to myself,
” Just one more search”
But this time I am ready to be loved for me
And not what I could give or do
I just wanted to be me…
I then decided to search where I had not searched previously,
Knowing I had searched all around me
Here and there, Far and wide
But never did I search above
Maybe, just maybe Love could be there…
Then I searched above,
And there it was waiting patiently for me
Love so amazing I could not have earned it
Encouraged and lifted I embraced Your Love-
Unconditional, Pure and Forgiving
I am glad You found me!
JEREMIAH 31:3
