Navigating Properly

If you know me too well, then you will know that one thing I am terrible at is Road description. It just seems like no matter how I memorize road maps, detours, and landmarks, when I’m faced with the situation of returning to a previously visited place. I might just forget the route to such a place. Annoying! Right?

But as I get older, it seems to get better. Thanks to Navigation maps with its near perfect description, such incidents of missing my ways have reduced drastically.

I was heading to a print shop recently armed with an imperfect description given to me. But with further enquiries I was able to locate the shop. If I hadn’t asked, I would have missed my way and wasted my time…

So imagine cruising through life without a sense of direction from God, just encountering different trials and errors and playing “Kalo Kalo” in this journey… Not a good thought! Definitely not.

It is difficult sometimes trying to decipher what should be done at each phase of one’s life, but a scripture reassures me greatly “Your own ears will hear him. Right behind you a voice will say, “This is the way you should go’’, whether to the right or to the left. (Isaiah 30:21) NLT

Keep speaking and listening to Him…His road map is there for you.
