The Surest Help

It is quite sad to know that a lot of people reject the surest means of help that is also the easiest, most dependable and reliable . My experience and that of quite a few people that was shared with me is what I intend to put together to reveal how much we stand to gain if only we allow ourselves the opportunity to be pampered, restored and treated like the princes and princesses that we truly are in the hands of an Amazing King.

ZECHARIAH 9:9

“Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout in triumph, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your king is coming to you; He is just and endowed with salvation, Humble, and mounted on a donkey, Even on a colt, the foal of a donkey.”

A lot of times, we look at ourselves through the eyes of who the world says we are, and who we think we are, hence a lot of people feel useless, unwanted, unqualified, inferior, and as a result consider life a waste and dilemma.

It gets so bad, some people consider taking their own lives as a result of unending pain, guilt, shame or reproach they are confronted with, while others just wish for death, so as to avoid what they are faced with.

GENESIS 30 :1

“And when Rachel saw that she bare Jacob no children, Rachel envied her sister; and said unto Jacob, Give me children, or else I die.”

You have to come to a point where you are sure of who you are in Christ and how much all that concerns you matter to Him. Your desire to give up on life as a result of any difficulty whatsoever does not give God glory. What brings Him glory is your decision to stay true to Him through it all.

JOHN 12:27-28

“Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.

Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.”

No one will ever understand your pain like you do, so I encourage you not to expect so much from people when you are hurting so bad that you wish the world could come to an end or death could come for you. The only one who feels your pain and understands your shame is the one who sees you inside and out, and understands all you are confronted with and exactly how you feel.

You have the life of Christ, and so your heartbeat is connected to His own. You are not alone in that pain, shame, reproach, delay, and defeat. He is your creator, He has your life in His hands and knows how you are feeling , because His breath is what is keeping you alive , so He is more connected to you than you know, considering that you draw your breath from Him.

JOB 27:3

“All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils.”

The truth is the world will always have its opinion about you and there is nothing you can do about it. Christ- The Saviour Himself was confronted with the same issue, yet He did not allow that hinder Him from looking through the eyes of His Father to see Himself as who the Father says He truly is.

Another thing that is quite heartbreaking is the fact that no one but God, can really understand how you feel about the unpleasant things going on in your life, neither can they understand how much you tried to help yourself from making the terrible mistakes you made in the past, and also that it hurts you so much you do not need more condemnation than you already have to deal with personally.

JOHN 8:10-11

“When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?

She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.”

The good news is it is not about what has been. It is absolutely about what is and what will be . There is no need to dwell in the shadows of the past, or decide to give up on life. As much as it sounds too good to be true, the truth is God knows how terrible you have been and how undeserving of His mercy you are, yet He is all out to justify you and make you look like you never did all those things that makes you feel awful.

ROMANS 3:24

“Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.”

If people cannot understand how you feel and how much help you need , how can they comfort you or help you? it is beyond any man to help the other person as he ought to, because we only know in part ,hence the need for the one who knows the thoughts of our heart, pains and the grieves we bear, considering that He is always with us.

ISAIAH 43:2

“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.”

Your surest help is Your creator. He knows your state and knows exactly how to bring you out of your present predicament, so that His glory can be revealed in you and through you.

As a member of His family, your pain is His pain. God hurts when you hurt, so does He rejoice when you rejoice. Your life is a story He wants written to encourage others. If you will allow Him, He will not just help you out of it all, but wrap His arms around you as He brings you out of every unpleasantness and whisper comfort and joy to you as He strengthens you to come out of it all as a Victor and not a Victim. Free indeed from the shadows of your past and restored to become who He created you to be – A Prince or Princess of the Most Amazing King.

Will you receive His help by receiving His Son- Jesus Christ , or will you rather reject His out stretched hand of love, care, support and fellowship?
